The simple fact is the Rooney brushes are made in China like most of the current ‘name brand’ high priced brushes.

How do I know ?

Check where I am posting this from and I can show you where they are made.

Bottom like it is simply marketing the brand name , they are all plastic handles with Chinese badger hair inside and cost pennies on the dollar to manufacture.

Only a gullible fool from Badger&Blade with a contributer tag next to their name would think any different.

@Steven
You are in Taiwan.
Rooney tell me that several Chinese companies claim to make their brushes and that none of them do.
Rooney handles are mainly made from Italian rods. All the handles are made on lathes in London.
The knots are handmade on old “canons” that define the knot shape, once again in London. From specially sorted Chinese hair.
The handles and knots are joined in a special process that no other manufacturer uses.

I have Chinese knotted brushes from several different manufacturers. They are absolutely nothing like a Simpson’s, Rooney or Morris & Forndran hand made “English” knot.
